Apparently there are already multiple offers from buyers who can cough up several hundred thousand dollars in cash (without wasting everyone's time on a loan approval). 20% down doesn't mean shit.
I guess interest rates are only low for the people who fucked up on subprime loans and not to help people who didn't fuck up and followed the "rules" - it's so depressing.
Anyway, since my job security is related to the state of the California fiscal nightmare, it's probably best to keep as much liquid cash on-hand so I can pursue a silly dream if I get laid off.
