Dreaming of Kalu Rinpoche

In a dream Rinpoche met the Lord Buddha and his eight close disciples, and dreamt that he offered the Seven Branches Prayer. Again in a dream, he himself truly transformed into Urgyen Guru Rinpoche, and from twelve tsan-ma goddesses and other dakinis received musical offerings of sweet songs and prayers.

In another dream, he met the previous Jamgon Kongtrul, who played his bell and drum, and bestowed four complete empowerments, and finally melted into light and absorbed into Rinpoche. In another dream, he met Holy Tara and heard many words of prophecy from her. And on another occasion he seized his dream and saw a dance in the heavens and heard this song:

Born in the upper part of Hor,
Then by meditational experience
Accomplishing the aim of Maha-Ati,
Finally at the place of death
Dying at Samyes, Town of Sand,
Then again taking birth
Between Do-Khams and Kongbu,
Born as a beggar's son.
Ripening and liberating many beings.
Then leaving that life
To be born in a lotus flower
In the Western Pure Land,
In Samsara to be born no more.

In entirely unrelated news, I love this photograph:

Maybe part of my understanding is not resisting the flow as I move through parts of my life and different states of my being...

I hold back too much... I could learn alot from Rinpoche...

Gorgeous tree Akira... maybe it's a tree spirit...

What is the energy behind this flow?

Ripening and liberating many beings.
Then leaving that life
To be born in a lotus flower
In the Western Pure Land,
In Samsara to be born no more.

BTW... I'm glad to see Casey is back but I can't start commenting on his blog...

I'm already an unproductive type and that would just accelerate the decline...

Hi Wagga,
He's back with the same old BS. Nothing new.

Hi Flowy,
I am currently able to reblog FYD. Thx for all of the sweet(tm) finds!

In other news, I’m feeling rather annoyed by the damn kids currently outside and the coworker who blew his nose in the kitchen sink at the office today.
The combination just makes me run far away from it all.

That guy at the office was straight out of the asshole song that I can't even embed. What a f-ing asshole!

I love my new tail Akira/.... thank you...

I'll have to hold up when I walk down the street... and I may wrap it around my neck when I'm sitting...

It's wonderful...
