Antediluvian

In case you didn't notice, I tend to get slightly OCD about certain words, numbers, images, etc.
an⋅te⋅di⋅lu⋅vi⋅an
1. of or belonging to the period before the Flood. Gen. 7, 8.
2. very old, old-fashioned, or out of date; antiquated; primitive: antediluvian ideas.
–noun
i.e., a person who refuses to wear those godawful jeans that show half of your ass and make people like me lose my appetite.

3. a person who lived before the Flood.
4. a very old or old-fashioned person or thing.

Check out the creepy guy in the shadows.
G'night and goodluck. I want to change my name to Akira. Even though that was a guy in the commercial, at least he didn't have kids telling him his name sounds like a failed car model or a f-ed country somewhere in Central America. Oh well, itsallgood.

My preferred form of life is being asleep, but I must have had too much tea today.

Survived Another Migraine

a daydream by `suzi9mm

Sometimes I tend to get rather depressed in the early stages of a migraine hence my comments last night. After spending the day in bed sleeping and avoiding light and sound, I'm feeling much better. Itsallgood!
I'm reading a rather interesting book about Turing and Gödel, A Madman Dreams of Turing Machines, but I find the writing style a bit odd. I'm not sure why the narrator suddenly chooses to insert herself in the story, but I particularly like the Moritz Circle scenes in Vienna when everyone idolized Wittgenstein except for Gödel. Apparently it was fashionable to dress in his casual tie-less white shirt manner. Many years ago I went through a Wittgenstein phase and even painted a portrait of him which I’ll include if I can find the image. Perhaps it is on my other laptop. So far I don't find Turing as interesting.

Tanuki's Zen Poop

When Tanuki was a puppy he was such a Jackson Pollock and would poop in an amazingly Abstract Expressionist sort of way. I have tons of photos of his artwork somewhere around here....These days he's taking a selectively Zen approach. Sometimes it's hard to tell whether he's feeling more Zen or Tao in his poopwork.

Oh, he seems to enjoy multiple canvases for his work.
