Virtual Absinthe Museum
I just happened to come across the rather intriguing collection at The Virtual Absinthe Museum.
It run by UK-based Oxygenee Ltd, a UK-based firm "operating in the field of absinthe, and rare and ancient spirits." They host Absinthe Classics where one can purchase from a variety of absinthe. Perhaps just the right holiday present for someone special!
A Baccarat uranium glass liqueur set from between 1830 and 1860.

First, murst, bratwurst!
More on absinthe - Want to party like it's 1899? Well, now you can--sort of. After nearly a century-long ban on absinthe in the U.S., a federal agency has begrudgingly allowed two European distillers to sell the mysterious liquor Stateside....
Regardless of exactly how potent absinthe is or isn't, Lehrman says one thing is certain: "If you drink three bottles, you are going to do something stupid."
Good point.
Absinthe is supposed to be hallucinogenic, isn't it? I think my catz are already on the stuff.
ISTR that uranium glass like that was used in the US through the 50s. A lot of it is still in circulation, and prized by daring (or stupid) collectors.
According to this
blog the absinthe approved in the U.S. is thujone-free and therefore may not have as strong an effect.
@Ogg,
Well, I would mind having the Baccarat uranium glass liqueur set above, but I don't know if I would use it. It's only very slighly radioactive.
