I don't know how people can eat dogs and cats:

Akira... I think all meat has spirit in it... dog spirit is close to us... the Chinese eat everything... I don't think we should condemn when we raise meat animals in such horrid conditions here...

Well, I don't believe in eating any meat other than fish on occasion.
There was a time when I didn't even eat fish, but I got really anemic and missed sushi too much.
Well, Radar weighs 15lbs, Puck the same, and Grub is 16lbs. At $1.32 a pound I'm rich!
My cat barely even weighs 6 pounds, so I'm poor in comparison.
Akubi is fat ("extra fluffy"), but even he doesn't even weigh 15 lbs.
Re: getting anemic, marmite is a good source of Vitamin B12, and it's made from beer yeast residues. An acquired taste though, I suppose like cat.

Back to the meat issue: it is rather interesting how we have designated mammals as either A. pets or B. food sources in this country. Pigs are very intelligent (which is probably why they're treated like shit by the rednecks who kill them) and I'd love to have one for a pet, but I don't have enough space. Why don't more people have pet pigs? I love pigs.
