It boggles the mind.
Oh yeah, the firstest with the murstest.
*grumble* stupid looser W2 job.
Heh.
In major blunder, Obama says sky is blue
Obama better get his gun policy plank on the record right now. All other issues are negotiable, but there is a large segment of society that you can starve, kick, fire, neglect all you want, but if they think he will take their guns then no way he is gonna get their vote. Just sayin'...
@Ogg,
I am reminded of The “Blog” of “Unnecessary” Quotation Marks.
As usual, there isn't a lick of difference between the candidates:
Obama, meanwhile, supports extending the assault weapons ban; supports a national law against carrying concealed weapons, with exceptions for retired police and military personnel; and supports limiting gun sales to one per month.
But promises by all the candidates to protect the fundamental right to gun ownership won't impress the gun lobby.
The National Rifle Association gave both Clinton and Obama an "F" on gun policies.
The NRA hardly spared McCain, giving him a C+ in their assessment.
While McCain is occasionally asked about the subject, he remains quiet on specifics -- and rarely talks unprompted about either God or guns on the stump...
Hi Buzz Saw,
Guns will be here anyway.
Had to see the Dr. for a biopsy today and not feeling all that well (mortality is a bitch).
I'd like to refer you to the $$$ trail and this post that semi-uplifted me this morning: Simply put: how could the person who approved this ad and the argument it represents logically vote for Barack Obama over John McCain this fall? If it is an Obama-McCain race, how would that person not feel vindicated if Obama lost? In fact, making Obama lose is now manifestly the prime objective of the Clintons. There is no other plausible interpretation of their recent actions, statements and behavior. I find this pretty gob-smacking as an observer; but if I were a Democrat?
I was brought-up on a small farm in near-outback Australia.
Protect your mother from red-bellied blacks (nasty poisonous snake) under the house : 10-gauge shotgun.
Protect the farm animals food supply from rats: .22 ratshot.
Protect the livestock from foxes (introduced by the bloody british): 10-gauge shotgun.
Protect the Constitution: Ballot box.
OT: hope you all got your tax returns in. I wonder if KC has filed his taxes for 2006. It'd be too much to think he did so for 2007. Either way, doesn't he still qualify for the stimulus payout? Sweet passive income!
@akubi, Sorry you aren't feeling so good.
Clinton and McCain work for the same bunch of maggots.
Either way, doesn't he still qualify for the stimulus payout? Sweet passive income!
I believe he'd have to file his 2007 taxes in order to receive the stimulus payout. If he did, it really annoys me that he would probably qualify for more than me.
Free Tibet? Hell, free America!
