When I was a kid visiting London, I got really into the English Beat and felt depressed when everyone else in Middle School disovered them later - now everyone discovers everything at the same time. Is that a good thing?

Hi Flowy!
Do you think the one on the top with the wild kitty is Garbo?
She looks different, but it's awfully cute and I hope she is.

Ahhh, Grand Hotel!
If you're a vintage film enthusiast, perhaps you noted the John Barrymore connection.

I think so Akira it looks like her a little younger...

Is that a lion cub? I'd love to have a lion cub...

I wish I knew vintage films... Grand Hotel looks amazing...

Off-topic but I need somewhere to post my discoveries: a fun phrase to google is "no one would have predicted" (make sure to include the quote signs). Scroll through page after page and you too can enjoy the sense of superiority that comes with hindsight!

Hi Mitchell,
Now if only one could Google into the future...

Hi Flowy,
Yeah, I should probably get rid of my TV too - or at least downgrade to basic cable. I rarely even watch it for anything, but background noise these days.

In other news, I think my dogs would look adorable in these hot dog costumes.
