OK, it’s official 2/3 of my family AKA "Animal Companions that one can't deduct on taxes" are insane.
My old calico cat, KooKoo, seems to have Alzheimer's and is increasingly bizarre with her moans and scratching in the middle of the night and Tanuki has been more erratically crazy than usual.
At the dog park, he jumped on this guy's lap - muddy paws, stinky tennis ball and all - and refused to get down.
He's usually hostile towards guys (i.e., also bit an XY friend's arm today) and primarily focused on fetching balls more than anything else so this was truly bizarre.
Akubi is my only reasonably normal "Animal Companion" these days.
Could it be Chinese chemicals in the food?
If so, Akubi eats more than KooKoo and Tanuki combined so I'm a bit skeptical.
