Tea and Blinkies

Inspired by the incomparable Stephanie J. (my idol) I’m having a tea Begathon of my own. I am desperately seeking Mariage Frères Festin D’Or AKA:

Ce mariage de thé vert aux fleurs de souci et de menthé nana marocaine a été créé dans l'esprit de la magnificence de l'Orient. Le riche parfum de la menthe fraîche et les fragrances florales qui festoient dans la tasse évoquent les fêtes fastueuses des Mille et Une Nuits. A déguster, chaud ou froid, pour redécouvrir les plaisirs d'un paradis perdu.

In addition, I would like to thank Nigel’s Guest Blogger for this Project SCOBY Doo™ blinky.

Reminder: Don’t forget to play the Friday the 13th edition of 6 Degrees of Casey Serin! Entries will be accepted until Tuesday.

Akubi,

Are you really looking for this brand of tea? I ask for two reasons. 1) Here in Montreal, the selection of French foods is huge, and I often like to go to a store (Délices du Marché) that would be likely to stock this. 2) Your postings recently are either Dadaist poetry or the result of a bit much stimulation of whatever kind. So, before I look for the tea, I'd want to know that you really are looking for some.

Best wishes,

NR

Whoops.

The store is Les Douceurs du Marché.

NR,
Yes, I am specifically seeking the Festin D’Or blend of Mariage Frères tea I cannot find in the U.S. Some of the more popular varieties like Marco Polo are easier to come by (for a price).
Dada nada yada: I believe this entire spectacle is being taken far too seriously. If we want to take on serious issues, KC is the least of our concerns. In fact, I appreciate that he has brought to light the POS no money down subprime mortgage industry.

This morning I'm having Thé des Légendes, but prefer Festin D’Or pour redécouvrir les plaisirs d'un paradis perdu.

Akubi,
I'll be visiting or phoning a store tomorrow that may well have the tea. Do you have an email address that I can use to reach you, rather than clog up the blog with details about it?

NR,
Seriously? Even though I'm the world's most derivative blogger? My address is listed under SCOBY Doo™ HQ on the right. Thx!
