I'm hoping this site is not updated: Is McCain President?

What (if any) Confederate state will go with Hopey?

Too close to call in AZ!
That is f-ing pathetic.

Obama doesn't need the confederate states w/ Yankee Doodle Ohio in the bag.

Washington and California will give it to Obama, even if everything else goes McCain.

I'd sigh in relief, but prop 8 is still too close to call. =\

I can’t believe prop 8 appears as though it is going to pass! I propose a proposition that bans out of state funding in our elections.

@NotanOptimist,
These California election results maps are interesting - particularly the percentages, i.e. 3/4 of SF and Marin voted No on prop 8 which is significantly more than any other counties. No wonder I was shocked.

@Akubi:
I will support your proposition banning out of state funding. Ugh. This is ridiculous. This is appalling. =\

Well, America, you did it. In a historic exercise in lateral thinking, you have chosen that the son of a CIA blueblood will be succeeded as president by the son of a Kenyan socialist. You voted for change and now you have your chance. Now is when we find out just how much moxie America does have left. There really are solutions to all your problems, I'm sure, even that hideous ten-trillion-dollar debt (and I'm also sure China will have lots of helpful suggestions there). And might I say that, though black is the color of the moment, green is the color of the future? With the new president as community organizer of Americaville rather than CEO of America, Inc., sustainability can be a theme around which people come together, and not just within America.

Good luck and all that,
The World (or a seven-billionth-part thereof)
