Far Out!

The Feminists, a circa 1971 work of pulp fiction is featured on this new sci fi site, io9. Quite funny. I love the “FAR OUT!” period detail on the book cover.
On the same site I discovered they’re making a film adaptation of Neuromancer. Given the director’s main experience involves Britney Spears music videos, I’m concerned this will be a travesty.

Yeah, I think that might cause the earth to crash into the sun or demons to fly out of everyone's noses or something. Nothing good can possibly come of it.

In other news there's a winter storm warning for the next several days in my area. I'm done enjoying the snow. It can go away now.

Oops I have a bad habit of skipping words when I'm in a hurry, so I fixed the omission.

Perhaps "disaster" is too extreme, but I hate horrible film versions of good books. Should I use "travesty" instead?

Well, I decided to change it to travesty.
BTW, do you know how to cross out a word in Blogger?

This should work. Blogger doesn't allow the strike tag in comments but I don't see why it wouldn't work in posts.

<strike>disaster</strike>travesty
