Huh? What are you referring to?! This post doesn't make any sense. I'm neither an artist nor a critic.

I don't do this very often but it works. Ctrl + Print Screen, then paste in Xcel, then save as web page, then pull up in photoshop & crop & save as. You probably know a better way, but it works for a hack like me.

Sorry, my posts are often fragmented snapshots that are far from well thought-out discourses.
To clarify the first sentence was a reference to a lot of the flash-based artist's sites not your site.
The second sentence was a reference to myself and my inability to handle critiques in art classes and is one of the many reasons I respect artists so much.

For those of us inside the Steve Jobs Reality Distortion Field, cmd-shift-4 and then drag a rectangle over whatever you want to capture. Turning off Javascript (easier to do in some browsers than others) also defeats a lot of "copy protection" schemes (but also tends to break flash-based sites entirely).
For the technically inclined, another strategy for dealing with content hidden behind Flash is to use Firefox's Live HTTP Headers plugin, then directly download whatever the Flash is accessing. That's more work than a screenshot, so it's usally only worthwhile for things like sound and video.
Standard disclaimer: of course you should only use these techniques for fair use or for demonstrating to clients that the disable-right-click scheme they have in mind is a bad idea.
