At the turn of the decade I led a group of 30 campers out to the Channel Islands of Southern California.
On the way back, we observed a Chinese container ship belching baby-shit colored smoke from high-sulphur fuel.
In minutes, the whole island vista was obscured - & SoCal was poisoned. Our charter boat owner spent hundreds of thousands to install clean-burning engines.
So cheap-shit Chinese imports have very expensive side effects. To our lungs.
