A Giant Kombucha in the Lab?

According to kombucha's comment:

Did you hear about the enormous komucha the Stanislaus County Mosquito and Vector agent discovered at the bottom of the pool? It was carefully removed and analyzed in a lab before the fish were added. I bet that kombucha was related to that sun worshipping guru and Casey was more pissed about his missing spiritual mushroom than anything else.

I am currently following up on the kombucha situation and will later reveal what is uncovered...

I'm trying _real_ hard to be the shepherd around here. Doin' it in Jamba Juice, Starbucks or ANYWHERE in Modesto makes it real f-ing hard. Sac sucks too.

OMFG is that thing alive?

That thing is sort of scary.

Kind of like wheatgrass.

Hey, want to help out on a post about the lifeforms found in the pool? :)

Long day and I was so angry about George W. on Charlie Rose last night (generally I fall asleep to Charlie) I couldn’t get to sleep at the usual time, so I’m feeling pretty tired this evening. Maybe I’ll get a second wind, though.
I did manage to chat with someone in our Mosquito & Vector District who heard similar rumors about a huge mass "like The Blob or something" found at the bottom of a pool in Stanislaus County. Apparently it is a rather unusual for the Modesto vector folks to take such a pro-active role as they have in the Casey case. Still collecting data, more later...

Didn't watch GW. Am more upset about the SCOTUS decision earlier this week, mind you.
