We at Project SCOBY Doo™ are not pleased. In fact, we are shocked and dismayed that Google does not recognize us. Blog About a Blog About a Blog About a Blog is The Official Source of 6 Degrees of Casey Serin™ yet we no longer appear anywhere near first (AKA murst!) when the term is Googled. What happened? Could it have anything to do with our lack of Google ads or is it the result of the vast conspiracy we’ve been slowly uncovering…Hmmm…

You're #6 if you use quotes. Maybe we should ask Nigel for some SEO tips.
Murst!
FF,
However, Baabaabaab was always first without quotes. Rather than type the address Project SCOBY Doo™ agents found it more convenient to Google 6 Degrees of Casey Serin without quotes. What would cause this sudden change?
I think as the phrase "6 Degrees of Casey Serin" disseminates across various blogs in posts and comments, the sites that have a higher google pagerank than yours will probably show higher in the results. You can post links back to your blog using the phrase 6 Degrees of Casey Serin as the link text in the comments of high traffic blogs. Google ranks link text higher than regular text.
Also the trademark symbol at the end of "6 Degrees of Casey Serin™" makes it a different search term than "6 Degrees of Casey Serin". You should probably also have a label without the trademark on 6 Degrees posts.
Thanks FF,
I've added a 6 Degrees of Casey Serin label without ™, but since I haven't been following any of the practices you describe, I'm still puzzled about what could cause this major change in my regular search term in only a day.
I think Google is ignoring the little Blogger people who don't care to put their stupid ads up.
