Madame AKUBI,

Thanks for sharing!

In thoroughly unrelated news, Senator MCCAIN has been having difficulties with trolls attending his campaign stops.

Hi guyz!
As far as I'm concerned dogs have more true humanity than humans.

M.Singh,
I'm pleased to see you here. I certainly hope it is not too "elitist" to suggest those trailer park trolls are disgusting and disturbing with their stupid ass racist/terrorist remarks.
Clicked on your AOL linky and voted "disrespectful" along with 70% of them.
Now I hope KC won't get the idea that he's Obama or something, but in the end itsallgood.

Madame AKUBI,

Yes, it seems that Senator MCCAIN and Governor PALIN are not totally aware of all Internet traditions, and the trolls that one would receive by pandering to the lowest common denominator.

As an interesting aside, I was reading about how Mr. MCCAIN wears a particular pair of Ferragamo loafers at his campaign stops. They are apparently only available at Neiman Marcus for $520. Browsing their site, I found that they come in my size of US 13 Medium, but that these shoes tend to run slightly narrow. I assume these shoes could hold a place of honor in the pantheon of infamous Italian footwear, right next to Bruno Maglis as worn by O.J. SIMPSON and The Real Killers™.

The Huffington Post article I referenced earlier also mentions that Mr. MCCAIN wore the Ferragamo loafers on a visit to the Dalai Lama. It does seem rather odd that Mr. MCCAIN would lambast Senator OBAMA for making a speech in Germany, while he turned around and made an appointment with His Holiness. Moreover, I am surprised that both the egos of these gentlemen could fit in the same room.

I wonder if the Beastie Boys were forced to wait outside while they talked?

I remain,

M. SINGH

Hi huyz,

don't let the hillbillies and rednecks get you down. we've got 'em here by the truckload. loud and stupid is no way to go through life. they'll get a heaping helping of karma soon enough.

@M. SINGH,
Very interesting connections…
All of my plans were derailed today due to a bad cold that kept me up most of the night.
Before taking another fever-induced nap, I logged in to find this article my mom had planned to bring over in print format.
Are the Beastie Boys still close with the Dalai Lama these days?
As far as formerly popular musicians go, I cannot stand Bono. What a jerk. Who the hell does he think he is?

@Edgar,
I don't know how you manage. OTOH, it is also annoying to live among a ton of supposedly environmentally, concerned and "aware" individuals who would gladly run you over you on their way to work.
