World's Fattest Pomeranian

Ogg sent me this link to the world's fattest Pomeranian who looks quite a bit like Akubi who has been finishing up his Akubi Scooby Snacks.
I ate so much Indian food this evening I feel like the world's fattest Pom too.

BREAKING NEWS UPDATE! Another hat tip to Ogg for this Britney McCain 2008 find:

Murst!

And you say Akubi's just fluffy...

I've seen poofy dogs that went swimming and came out looking like a drowned rat. I don't think that one would though...

And before you ask, no pics yet.

So have I.
We want the pix!
BTW the real Casey has been posting up a storm on CHC this evening. Do you have access? If not I'll repost.

@Ogg,
He is really fluffy.

Akubi-Dooby-Doo, (and anyone else not on CHC much) -- Casey was on a talkcast yesterday for around 2 hours, he hops in around 20 minutes in:

http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=23432&cmd=tc

Hosted by ModestoGirl, talkcast features me (the real me. heh.), WeWantTheFunk, Jimmy, Tracy towards the middle, Dolph at the last 30 minutes, and of course, "me" (the mop-topped fraudster we all know and love). :-)

@ "Casey":

I think you're bluffing about the talkcast. I'll look into it™.

@ All:

It *is* August 2008, right? One of those house flipping shows is on TV now. I can't believe it.

Hey Guyz,
Yesterday, I discovered that WALNUTS McCain was tied with Obama for POTUS - anyone know why?
Another 4 years of BS Republican "fiscal" conservative BS would make me very, very ANGRY. Since I don't really have much to lose, I'd be willing to get all of my guns and request that I'd like my country back or I'll blow your fucking brains out mother fucker.

Having seen the English Beat in London prior to the 6th grade I fancied myself ahead of the crowd - yet I had a serious problem in Middle School: No Bat Mitvah. I hated the fact that my mom was an agnostic Catholic and my dad was a dead Angry Lutheran. I wanted to be Jewish and have a bat mitvah like everyone else.

hi akubi,

No, I got kicked off CHC poste haste, or should I say edgar's sister got kicked off. s/he played the troll for several weeks before s/he got the boot though...

I may have an answer to your recent blogging access probs:

On Friday I started getting reports that Mortgage Lender Implode-O-Meter was down. I was able to access the site just fine. Saturday morning I received messages that many sites were down. Here is the list.

http://ml-implode.com/
http://bankimplode.com/
http://www.nakedcapitalism.com/
http://economistsview.typepad.com/economistsview/
http://mrmortgage.ml-implode.com/
http://www.creditbubblestocks.com/
http://www.benbittrolff.blogspot.com/
http://www.financialarmageddon.com/

I tried them all and I had access. Here is the explanation from Aaron Krowne. "There was a problem with SiteMeter that is now corrected. Furthermore, the problem was only with Internet Explorer. Those who use Firefox had no problems accessing those sites."

@Casey,
Quite entertaining!

@Edgar,
You could request a new login. It shouldn't be a problem.
Actually, I'm not really having an access issue. Essentially, I exceeded my Blogger photo upload limit on my Akubi account.

Do you ever wake up in the morning feeling unsettled for no particular reason?
OK, yes the zit on my nose and 4 more years of Republican mismanagement is unsettling, but it's more than that - like one had a disturbing dream that one can't remember that has left an impression nonetheless.
Perhaps when people say "they woke up on the wrong side of the bed" it means the same thing. Well, I woke up feeling vaguely unsettled for no particular reason. Maybe it had something to do with the spicy South Indian food I had for dinner. My grandma believed spicy food unbalanced the system or some such thing – her cooking sucked.
I tried to get back to sleep so I could start over to no avail. To get my mind off of the strange feeling, I decided to finish reading _A Madman Dreams of Turing Machines_ and that certainly didn’t help. Instead I was left with an image of an obese chemically castrated Turing with boobs committing suicide and a paranoid Gödel starving himself to death. I think gardening might help, but I have a bunch of other chores around the house to deal with before I can really relax and enjoy myself in the garden.
Granted I’m not accomplishing much wasting time on the internet either, but I’m curious if others have had this experience and if so how you dealt with it...

Tracy hates me, and she is a rules hypocrite too. Quite frankly, I think she is full of crap, and dude is a fascist. They kick people off without warning, even though they say they give warnings, because their crappy server can't handle the traffic and they just want a bunch of butt kissers anyway. I don't want back on there, I hate them with a smoldering disgust that still emits ashen spew when fanned by the slightest breeze. I used a crapload of bandwidth when I was there, vids, anim. pics, long quotes. It took them quite the while to figure out that I didn't like them even though I told them repeatedly to their faces and quoted them mercilessly breaking their own rules and being cherry flavored douches about it.

As to the unsettled feeling, quit reading that crap and go have a drink somewhere, before it's too late. :)

Well, I've never had the experience of being unable to fall asleep. Usually, after waking up from my customary 18-hour night-time beauty rest, I'm all tuckered out and ready for my also-customary 5-hour mid-day nap.

And whenever I have unsettling dreams, I usually take refuge in the closet... so to speak. ;-)

@ Akubi:

I think "waking up on the wrong side of the bed" usually refers to waking up in a foul mood, but I've certainly experienced what you describe. I don't think it's uncommon.

I'm spending the afternoon alternately procrastinating and picking away at my dirty dish pile, mail pile, and box pile left over from my recent move. I also need to dial in the new drivetrain I put on my commuter bike the other day -- a fun little easy project.

Well, I started another book that is quite addicting and allowed me to forget about the unsettling feeling - _Embers_ by Sándor Márai.

@Casey,
Do you even have unsettling dreams?
You're so irrationally optimistic it's rather hard to believe.

@Ogg,
After accomplishing a few chores, I've mainly been procrastinating and blame it on the latest book I've been reading. It draws you in like a Hitchcock film - Rope comes to mind.

BTW, after sleeping much of the day (when not eating) Akubi is currently passed out on his leopard skin cushion. Like Casey, he makes me feel a little less guilty about not accomplishing much.
