Tentacles and Cereal Skulls

Gene Guynn "Catching Bullets" via SFWeekly
Land of a Million Cereals set via PCL LinkDump

In other news, 6 Degrees of Casey Serin is getting way more traffic than True Casey today.
As posted on Zillowed, I thought this Sigur Rós concert video was pretty groovy:

Way cooler version:

Is this video not weird? A bunch of retarded angels...WTF?

Skull looks like the work of a serial killer?

Got milk?

Hi NotAnOptimist!

@Wagga,
Did you mean cereal killer?

What kind of cereal do you think that is?

BTW, it appears the source of 6 Degrees of KC's huge traffic spike is some sort of Spanish version of Digg, but you don't need an account to click the "meneos" button - so how about a couple of extra clicks for me?

They only let me do uno maximus.

It's true. I even tried to meneos from a different browser but it wouldn't let me.

They sure know pizza in Japan.

I see koi in the pizza!

Oh no!
Just cause T.S. eliot and friends lost the Chess Game, that does mean it didn't happen. The Cephalopes are they to save us while the unicorns are busy.

That's probably good. The unicorns seem unreliable at best.

This baby whale story is so sad. They are mammals. Why can't we give the poor little guy some milk?

Not too many places have an aquarium big enough to raise an humpback whale. Without its mother the poor calf hasn't a chance. If he was crying out at sea she might find it, but otherwise hope is lost. There is more to surviving in the wild than getting enough milk.

Well, this is the latest plan.

If the calf has been lost for almost a week its mother may be far away by now. She probably looked for a day or so and then went on her way.

Strangeness alert: the People's Daily (China) serializes a car wash calendar issued by "Christ Wash Systems". Funny to see "the organ of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China" (Wikipedia) featuring this stuff, but I guess it's been forty years since the Cultural Revolution...

@Mitchell,
That is really bizarre. Note that several months are misspelled too.
